Simple Installation Steps

1. Strip the insulation of the aluminum cable to the length indicated on the ACL terminal’s barrel— follow the marked guide for a perfect fit.

2. Fully insert the stripped cable into the aluminum barrel, ensuring no wire strands are exposed outside the barrel (this prevents connection issues and safety hazards).

3. Use a hydraulic crimping tool with appropriately sized dies to compress the barrel at 2 to 3 evenly spaced points for maximum hold and conductivity.

4. Align the copper lug’s bolt hole with the MCCB or busbar terminal, then secure it using a torque-controlled bolt to meet the specified torque requirements.

Selection Guidelines

• Choose an ACL terminal whose cross-sectional range (e.g., ACL-185sqmm) matches your aluminum cable’s size— improper sizing leads to loose connections and overheating.
